We 

started with a pet Maltese that my mother-in-law gave us for a birthday present 12 years ago!  What a wonderful present she was and led to many more Maltese.   We  both had dogs all our lives but none were as special as this little white dog.  I  had a Collie as a teenager and had trained him in obedience and shown him in conformation too! But our  Maltese(Pixie) captured our hearts in a special way. So now we have a houseful of little white dogs and they have all captured our hearts. 

Our first show dog was Buddy-a gorgeous Maltese with a sweet and showy personality.  That is his picture on our home page. He was my grooming guinea pig-poor thing.   I didn't know what a challenge I was in for learning to groom a show Maltese, but  we got through it and he did get his championship. It was quite an adventure learning about dog shows.  I had a lot of surprises and challenges along the way but we're still here and I hope you enjoy our web site.
